beem 1.7-rc2 exits after some time when the phone is not being used

Description
When I start beem and leave the phone unused for a while (eg. the screen goes off and locked), then sometimes it exits after some time. Seems to be random - sometimes I unlock the phone and beem is still there, sometimes it's already gone. Just as if it crashed for some reason. it happened also in 1.7-rc1, but not in 1.6.
HTC Desire Z, Android 2.3.3.
